Welcome.
My writing will help you make real connections with readers and potential patients.
I’ve never been a lover of small talk; I prefer to spend my time wrestling with the big, sometimes daunting questions about how to live well in this world and navigate its many challenges.
I think (and write) a lot about transitions: the uncomfortable kinds, the miraculous kinds. About the way turning points in our lives press us on, willing us to see differently, to turn down a street we’ve never taken before.
For eight years I’ve provided massage therapy to hospice patients. Before that, I was a volunteer and intern in a children’s hospital, as well as an oncology massage volunteer. In each of these roles, I’ve been witness to hundreds of people re-calibrating their lives, facing the kinds of turns that we’ll each encounter in our own way, in our own time.
The right words, in the midst of change and struggle, can help light new pathways: they give voice to pain and help readers feel more connected in the midst of common human experiences. Words can also be practically useful and help answer questions at a time when the world just feels like a lot.
Alongside my healthcare work, I have twelve years experience writing articles and profiles for magazines. I also have graduate training in family studies and am passionate about the work of human development and family relationships over a lifetime. If you need a writer to craft deeply human, well researched content, please reach out. I promise, we’ll get right to it.
